About Garfunkel & Oates:
If you aren't familiar with Gafunkel & Oates they are an LA-based off
beat comedy/music duo made up of actresses Riki Lindhome (Last House on
the Left, My Best Friend's Girl) and Kate Micucci (Scrubs, When in
Rome). CNN did a piece on the group because their song, "Sex with
Ducks", was causing debates in the political blogosphere. They were
asked to perform with the legendary John Oates (Hall & Oates), they have
an ongoing show at Upright Citizens Brigade in LA and they were a stand
out at the 2009 Montreal Comedy Festival. They have also been invited to
the Vancouver Comedy Festival and to The Melbourne Comedy Festival in
Australia in March of 2010.

We are very excited to announce that our next Home by 9 event will feature Eric Clapton's famous guitar "Blackie" on display. Other collectible guitars will be on display and Guitar Center experts will be there for Q&A.

There will be a special musical performance by Godfrey Townsend performing the best of Eric Clapton.

This is a must for any Eric Clapton fan.

Currently Guitarist & Vocalist for ALAN PARSONS PROJECT & previously with The John Entwistle Band, Jack Bruce & Todd Rundgren's " Abbey Road " Band - leads a stellar line-up of players paying tribute to Slowhand. After hearing Godfrey jamming on some Cream tunes in a club one night, Eric Clapton's guitar technician, Lee Dickson commented to John Entwistle, "This guy's got Clapton down better than Clapton!

Critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Reid Genauer delighted a packed room with material from his current band, Assembly of Dust, as well as some old favorites from his days with Strangefolk. Genuaer also kept the crowd laughing with some hilarious banter and also provided some in-depth background on some of his most well-known songs.

Home by 9 made its fall debut with an amazing sold out show by Chris Barron. The Spin Doctors lead singer unveiled a wealth of solo material, as well as a few of his monster hits such as "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" and "Two Princes."

Home by 9 hosted its inaugural event on Wednesday June 25th at Union Square’s Blue Water Grill. Jonah Smith performed to a packed room and kept the audience thoroughly entertained throughout the evening.
